We had a small group this year. Temps were hovering around a chilly 40 and winds picking up to 25 mph. Yet 6 of us braved the zoo and dinner. The five pictured here continued on the waterfall tour. We ventured Pier's Gorge and Pemene Falls on the Michigan side of the Menominee River, and Dave's Falls in Amberg on the Pike River. Great places to take friends and family for a picnic. And these are romantic settings for a date if a naturalist by nature. We all had a great time.
Watch for our spring waterfall tour when these rivers are raging from winter's runoff.
