You'd think Jeff was trying to make a fashion statement with those bright gloves. This brings up a tip we'd like to offer future rafters. A professional photographer took these pictures using a movie camera, then sells the movie DVD and separate photo clips after the rafting trips. They set up their office in Rapid's Resort next to Kosir's so everyone can see themselves on their run. As a group, we try to buy all the photos and DVD, which we did again this year. The cost for our noon trip photo's and DVD was $80. Greg and I picked up most of the tab, while others pitched in too, so everyone could have their photo's. They make great desktop backgrounds and posters. We use them for promotion in various ways.
Your tip: It makes finding you in all those photos, and on the river, extremely easy when you stand out by wearing something other than a wet suit, life jacket and helmet. Bright colors make it easy to identify you. If you plan to join us next year, bring something colorful to wear over or under your protective gear that stands out.
