Shortly after seeing the geese, a deer came out for a drink and quickly darted off into the woods. To photograph wildlife, you have to be quick to shoot or you miss out. The camera was sitting on the cooler in front of me, easily within reach, and tied off to the canoe incase it took a plunge.
